The project celebrates an overlooked typology – the warehouse and office – while also exploring a cost-efficient, standardized building system deeply embedded in the Danish construction sector. The intention was to challenge the production process, while exploring spatial and architectural potentials of the shell structure, in order to suggest ways for limiting material use.

TRÆ is the world’s first and tallest upcycle timber high-rise. The 78 m, 20-storey office complex in Aarhus redefines large-scale circular construction by implementing a wide range of reused, recycled and biogenic materials, proving how waste can become architecture with a minimal carbon footprint.

Thoravej 29 transforms a 1967 factory in Copenhagen into a public hub for art and community. Through unconventional studies and execution, 95% of the materials stayed on site, showing how existing buildings – even the disregarded – can be revitalised through curiously caring for what is at hand.
