The historic Market Hall is in desperate need of modernizing and during the period of its refurbishment there was a need to create a temporary Market Hall on the adjacent square. The temporary structure has been a popular success with almost twice as many visitors per week as the historic Market Hall and an increase in the trader’s turnover of up to 50%.

The project is located in Mulhouse in a popular district close to the city center, currently under renovation. It includes 59 social rental dwellings developed by SOMCO, operator on public social housing. A few years after the Cité Manifeste experience, our common goal was to pursue the same aims: generous dwellings without increasing the rent.

The house is built from an exemplary program. A retreat, a place to live, to think and to work that will house a library and a small collection of art.

This is a modest industrial structure designed for a couple who we had designed a house before, for the same site. Their goal is to produce olive oil with the most conventional and traditional techniques. The production process which is defined by the gravity has generated the architectural resolution.

Kvæsthus Pier is situated at the meeting of the urban city with the sea. The expansive surface of the pier stretches between a series of pavilions, ending in a freestanding tower. From here the surface of the pier gradually slopes down to meet the water, opening up to a unique space where one is alone with the elements – city, sky, and sea.

The project is located at the tip of Nice, to the north. We won the competition by proposing to top off the futsal programme with a multi-sport pitch on the roof. We wanted to create a transversal link between the city and the river. This little concrete temple of sport places the young players into a dialogue with their land and sky.

The new pavilion replaces an existing 1980’s pavilion which was severely damaged by flooding in 2010.This new pavilion provides a robust new home for the future of the club.
